My Background
As a sustainability consultant at the global engineering firm Arup, I developed a deep understanding of green infrastructure, integrated mobility solutions, and urban design. From district systems, to passive energy strategies, early design decisions set the conditions for resource efficiency through the project lifecycle. I helped project manage three of the most ambitious masterplanning efforts in the Bay Area during the past decade: Treasure Island, the first project in the US to achieve Platinum Certification under LEED-Neighborhood Development, the sustainability plan for Candlestick and Hunters Point, and the environmental review process for the Concord Naval Weapons Station.
At Gehl, a renowned urban strategy consultancy, based in Copenhagen, I had the privilege of serving as a Director, delivering urban projects with a people-first perspective across the US and Latin America. The firm, a pioneer in analysis and strategies to enhance public life, introduced me to the process of documenting human activity in public spaces and developing strategies to make places more inviting and inclusive through design.
We partnered with the Latin American Development Bank to implement public space pilots across fast-growing cities in Latin America. Two signature projects were the Public Realm and Mobility Strategy for Barrio 31, the largest informal settlement in Buenos Aires, and the National Public Space Guidelines for the government of Chile. For three years I launched and led a partnership between Gehl and Google, where a dedicated team worked full-time to deliver an urban activation strategy, outlining neighborhood integration tactics and community benefits for Google campuses worldwide.
Now, based in Mexico, I am dedicated to applying my expertise to support developers, philanthropists, and institutional actors committed to advancing social and environmental outcomes through place-based projects. Leveraging my extensive professional network, I also serve as a valuable liaison, connecting my clients with the right talent and resources.
